The General Authority for Real Estate announced the launch of the \u201cSave the Security Amount\u201d service through \u201cEjar\u201d, a service through which the security amount (insurance) is saved with \u201cEjar\u201d to compensate the property owner for any damages that may occur to the property during the tenant\u2019s use of the rental unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Authority explained that this service comes as one of the requirements of the Real Estate Brokerage System and its executive regulations, which stipulate that the security amount be saved with the Authority or whoever it authorizes, until the property is re-delivered without damage, so that the security amount is saved with \u201cEjar\u201d as a third party between the landlord and the tenant, when the real estate broker registers the contract in Ejar, and after the expiry or cancellation of the contract, the unit delivery form agreed upon by both parties is relied upon, so that the amount reserved as a security on the unit or part of it is automatically transferred to the landlord as compensation, or returned
