The General Authority for Real Estate announced the start of real estate registration work for 146,478 real estate plots, in 22 neighborhoods in Riyadh, 25 neighborhoods in Al-Muzahmiyya Governorate, and 11 neighborhoods in Diriyah Governorate, starting from 8 Jumada Al-Awwal 1446 AH corresponding to November 10, 2024 AD, and continuing until the end of Shaaban 14, 1446 AH corresponding to February 13, 2025 AD.
The Authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry in this phase include a number of neighborhoods in Riyadh, namely: (part of Arid neighborhood, Wadi Laban, King Abdullah Energy City, Al-Wissam, Al-Sahab, Al-Marjan, Al-Bishara, Al-Iskan, Al-Bariyya, the new industrial city, Heet, Khashm Al-Aan, Uhud, Okaz, Dirab, Al-Mansouriyah, Al-Ha’ir, Al-Ammajiyah, Al-Ghanamiyah, Umm Al-Sha’al, Al-Sahba, and Al-Musafah), while the registration in Al-Muzahmiyya Governorate includes the neighborhoods: (Wasilah, Nawarah, Granada, Tuwaiq, Shukheeb, Hadhar, Al-Yasmin, Al-Wurood, Al-Waha, Al-Hada, Al-Morouj, Al-Muhammadiyah, Al-Lulu’ah, Al-Ghatghat, Al-Ulya, Al-Sina’iyah, Al-Saqouriyah, Al-Shalal, Al-Reef, Al-Rashidiyah, Al-Hazimiyah, Al-Hazm, Al-Jami’ah, Al-Andalus, and Mushairfah), while the registration includes neighborhoods in Al-Diriyah Governorate, namely: (Al-Shuhada, Aqraba, Salam, Wadi, Adl, Najd, Al Ain, Al Wasil, Prince Sultan, Al Waha, and Hijrat Bu Dah), indicating that the selection of neighborhoods was made according to specific criteria, and the remaining regions, governorates, and neighborhoods that will be subject to the real estate registration work in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced successively during the coming periods.
The “Real Estate Authority” indicated that the first registration of real estate in these regions and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform or through service centers, indicating that the real estate registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.
The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to eye registration to verify the property title deed and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for starting registration, as inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the Authority’s official platforms or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.
It indicated that starting from the specified date for starting registration, a “property number” and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include the property data, descriptions, and condition, and the rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information, which contributes to strengthening the infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector; as the real estate eye registration system aims to raise real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
